Thank you to our school community for your support throughout the incident that took place on Kennet Rise on Monday 5th November. Our school remained a safe, calm working environment throughout. School life continued as usual today but support is available for any students who have found recent events upsetting.
The statement below is from the Police who are dealing with the incident:
Two men have been arrested in relation to a stabbing that took place in Kennet Rise, Bedford yesterday (Monday).
A 22-year-old and a 24-year-old, both from Bedford were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and are currently in custody.
The victim was an 18-year-old man, who was taken to hospital, but his injuries aren’t thought to be life threatening.
We are treating this as an isolated incident at this time, but would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it and has information that could help them with our enquiries.
We have increased patrols around this area today to provide reassurance to the local community.
