KS3 Careers Ed

Key Stage 3 students (Years 7-9) will receive careers education during their PSHE lessons, form time and curriculum lessons, before making choices about their GCSE options towards the end of Year 9. Students in years 8 and 9 have access to Unifrog and there will be various educational trips and visits led by departments in those school years.

Year 9 Students will be supported in making their choices in a range of ways including:

• GCSE Options Evening
• Year 9 Parents' Evening (with Subject Teachers)
• GCSE Options prospectus
• GCSE Options Assembly
• Presentations from departments whose subject has not been covered in year 9 curriculum such as Business, Health & Social Care, GCSE PE, Computer Science, Photography, Sociology, Music, Media and Food Technology
